VNC console on edge host

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out how to manage VNC connections to egde host's VMs.
I see that the connection is using vencrypt but I'm getting errors with every client I try to use and I didn't found out how to disable encryption. What client do you use and how you configure it?

you can try the following

• set vnc_tls to 0 in /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf
• restart libvirt/lbivirtd
• stop/start the vm instances

Hi @weizhouapache,
after a few I was able to bypass the encryption but I'm now stuck as I'm not understanding how to retrieve the VNC password for a VM. I see that are encrypted in the database but I can't find a way to decrypt them following the docs (https://docs.cloudstack.apache.org/en/latest/installguide/encryption.html) and looks like the VNC default password implemented on libvirt configuration is not used.

If the vm is running, you can get the vnc password on kvm host

virsh dumpxml --security-info <instance name> |grep vnc
