Run management server and kvm in a vm on a hyperv server

For testing, can I install it in a VM within HyperV? Can the virtual switch be of the internal type? I have a firewall on this network, so the internal network goes through it. I have tried to install it several times, but my system VMs can never reach the gateway, they only reach the management server.

@cassiomc1 , strictly speaking you can, but the hyperv support has not been maintained for a long time, so dragons may be. For bridge (and other network support) you'd have to read the code.

You can run ssvm-check.sh on the ssvm to get some extra diagnostics. (i think it is located in /opt/cloud/bin , not sure though)

short answer: yes. You can use a VM on hyperv as long as it can do nested virt.
long answer: as with any ACS installation it's essential that you get the network right, so choose the right type of vswitches on the right network links or vlans.

Hello, I found the problem, you have to enable mac spoofing on the kvm vm network interface in hyperv, it works correctly after enabling it! :D
