I'd suggest to improve the tiles assignation, given that using only tiles' bounding boxes as a criteria leads to unnecessary downloads. While bounding boxes overlap, the reality is that tiles doesn't. So I'd say it'd be much more optimal to have the real shape of each tile to assign them to the polygon/bbox requested.
