Knowledge worth passing on.
Densho is a collaborative documentation platform: real-time editing, spaces with nested pages, public sharing, full-text search - and documentation that can live in a git repository, synced two-way with the app, merged block by block, conflicts resolved zone by zone.
- Real-time collaborative editor - rich blocks (callouts, toggles, columns, tables, math, diagrams, live HTML), live cursors, comments, @mentions, page history
- Spaces and structure - nested page tree with drag-to-reorder, per-space members and permissions, favorites, and a trash that forgives you for 30 days
- Git sync - connect a space to any SSH repository: pages become reviewable Markdown files with real image assets, files become pages, both sides merge block by block
- Kanban boards - independent or tied to a space, with columns, labels, priorities, milestones, sub-issues, cards linked to pages, and real-time drag-and-drop
- Team chat - a channel per space plus General, direct messages and private groups, end-to-end encrypted so the server never sees a word
- Publish to the web - turn any page and its subpages into a clean public site, on your own domain under
/docs, with readable URLs instead of UUIDs - Everything round-trips - Markdown, HTML and PDF export; a Markdown export re-imports identically, even on another instance
- Self-hosted in minutes - one Docker image, one Postgres, done
