This defaults off and is enabled by an environment variable, since USD files written this way won't load as before in older Cortex versions.

Thanks John, changes look good to me. One question inline about whether we're missing a changelog entry for the nameFromUSD() behaviour change, and we'll need to switch this PR over to target RB-10.6 rather than main before merging. Feel free to merge afterwards if you're keen to get a 10.6 release out tomorrow.
