I design and operate infrastructure that saves money at scale and ships software faster. I utilize evidence and data to backup my decisions and justification. I am willing to learn, adapt and grow.

I am a Computer Engineer which means that I spent my college years building electric circuits and programming hardware microcontrollers for embedded technologies and robotics. I'm not a computer science engineer and nor was I trained in that profession. I always viewed Computer Engineering to be harder than Computer Science. In 2026, the profession of software engineering has been supplemented with AI powered Computer Engineering!

I project myself professionally, love teaching others and especially building systems that solve complex problems. I support women in tech and volunteered as an instructor for RailsGirlsRDU 2014. I helped coach a grou of ambitious women who wanted to learn programming by building rails new twitter clone and making it their own. I have demonstrated a talent for teaching since childhood including a teaching assistant in college.

Diversity is important. Diversity of thought. Diversity of culture. Diversity of backgrounds. I survived Ceaușescu's orphanages in Romania and have spent my entire career collaborating with people from around the world on various technical challenges. I reject monoculture and egotism.

Every company that I have professionally worked with has called me. They sought me out and I chose them. I am forward thinking, business oriented, and conscious of time and money being spent. I own without ego and I aspire for engineering excellency in everything that I work on - whether its process oriented or technical in nature. Just because you may get to interview me, does not mean that you may get to work with me. I need to interview your company too.

I enjoy writing in many different programming languages but I can only really write write in English despite it being my second language. But, I really only write write in English.
