Changes:

  • Bump the recommended distro to Ubuntu 26.04
  • Document wsl --update via the Microsoft Store
  • Switch Firefox to snap
  • Replace modprobe vhci-hcd with a persistent modules-load.d config
  • Added a section covering USB drive auto-mounting and Bluetooth, including our patched WSL2 kernel

Instead of embedding the USB auto-mounting or Bluetooth troubleshooting steps in the article, I point to the wsl2.md doc we maintain.

If you want to view the rendered site without the need for docker, feel free to use the zip below:
WSL2 for Firmware Development _ Interrupt.zip

Bump the recommended distro to Ubuntu 26.04, document `wsl --update`
via the Microsoft Store, and switch Firefox to snap to match the
J-Link download paths. Replace the one-shot `modprobe vhci-hcd` with a
persistent modules-load.d config, and add a section covering USB drive
auto-mounting and Bluetooth, including our patched WSL2 kernel for
MediaTek dongles.

Great! FYI @gminn I asked @elcalzado to make these updates to this article, I hope that's OK!
