@changesets/cli 2.31.1 → 3.0.0 (breaking changes per changelog):

  • changeset tag renamed to changeset git-tag — repo doesn't call tag anywhere in scripts/workflows, so unaffected.
  • engines now requires npm ≥10.9.0 / yarn ≥4.5.2 / pnpm ≥10 — irrelevant here since CI (ci.yml, release.yml) uses npm ci, not Yarn. (Note: local yarn install with Yarn Classic 1.22.22 does fail on this engine check, but that's not how this repo installs deps.)
  • prettier config option replaced by format — .changeset/config.json doesn't set prettier, so no migration needed.
  • changeset version now exits 1 when there are no changesets — only affects release automation behavior on no-op runs, not a concern for this repo's usage.

@changesets/changelog-github 0.7.0 → 1.0.0: now published as ESM and requires Node ^22.11 || ^24 || >=26. CI uses Node 24 for the release workflow (release.yml) and Node 20 for ci.yml, but this package is only invoked during changeset version/changeset publish in the release workflow, so it's covered.

Verified locally with npm ci, npm run pretest (build), npm test (12/12 passing), and npm run eslint — all pass with the updated versions.

Looks like these dependencies are updatable in another way, so this is no longer needed.
